ASCOT PROJECT

The scale of this home was somewhat imposing so we set about to add texture, colour and raw materials. Oversized furniture pieces help to fill each room while also being perfect for family life. Striking pendant lights, handcut tiles, engineered timber floors, greenery and natural fibres combine to give the home the character it needed.

CLAYFIELD PROJECT

A contemporary villa with a tropical inspired garden came to mind when this young family from the Sunshine Coast thought about the sort of Brisbane home they would like to live in. After finding a property to renovate, they enlisted the very clever Alexandra Buchanan Architects who worked their magic with opening up the space to bring the outdoors in. Finishes and furnishings by LuJe were kept fairly minimalist and monochromatic, while raw timber elements and a few pops of colour create the perfect combo.

NORTH AVALON PROJECT

A coastal meets tribal vibe that adds even more wow factor to the dramatic oceanfront setting. The South African born client wanted reminders from home so after a sourcing trip to Cape Town and a container load later, this home is brimming with layers of texture, warmth and character. The clean lines and monochromatic finishes flow throughout this contemporary weatherboard home, which was a new build.

NEW FARM CITY PAD PROJECT

We transformed this very dated townhouse into a chic and serene city escape for its county dwelling owners to use as needed or AirBnB. The budget was minimal so we kept finishes and furnishings simple with a neutral palette. Once the ‘80s tiles were ripped up, the best surprise was the  original concrete floor which we had polished. This saved a fortune and added some much needed character... Love an upcycle!
